The partnership agreement between the two manufacturers promotes co-operation in the design, development, and production of a variety of on-track machines and plant. SCHÖMA´s expertise in vehicle design and build combined with RailTechnology’s expertise in the development of innovative track maintenance and inspection technologies will allow the partnership to offer clients cutting edge enhanced solutions using specialist railway maintenance machines.

The next generation of machines, already developed, includes multi-use hybrid power cars, rail inspection vehicles, MPV’s, track and tunnel cleaning and ST silent track rail grinding machines.
